About us

About Me: I'm a student at Fort Lee High School, class of 2026. I've been playing music for a good chunk of my life- my first instrument being the flute when I was in 4th grade. I've also played the piano, euphonium, mellophone, and french horn, which I currently play. I play for the Fort Lee High School Concert Band and Marching Band. I am very lucky to be able to play for and found the OutaTune Ensemble.

About Me:  My name is Ryan Villafania, a student at Fort Lee High School, class of 2026. I am super grateful and excited to play for this band! I've been enjoying music ever since 4th grade. The violin was my very first instrument and I currently play the double bass. I am part of the Fort Lee High School Orchestra, as well as the Fort Lee High School Marching Band. Outside of music, my favorite hobbies are skiing and playing chess. 

About Me: I am Evan Yuen. I have been immersed in music since I was young due to having a violinist brother. I started playing the cello as my main instrument in 4th grade and now the tuba. I am part of the class of 2026 at Fort Lee High School. I also play for the Honors Chamber Ensemble, Marching, and Concert Band. It is an honor to be the current president and lead this band/ensemble for future events!

About Me: I am Leo Li. I have been playing music ever since I was in first grade when I started taking piano lessons. From there, it branched off into many other different instruments, such as clarinet, saxophone, and bassoon. I also play trumpet and trombone, although I wouldn't say I am very good at them. I am in class of 2026 at Bergen County Academies, and I'm in the BCA Jazz Band, and Fort Lee Marching Band, Concert Band, and Orchestra. I have always loved music, and I cannot wait for future events in this ensemble.

About Me: I am part of the class of 2026 at the Bergen County Technical High School in Teterboro, majoring in Automotive Engineering and Design Technology. I am part of the Fort Lee High School Marching Band as well as the Concert Band and Orchestra, playing mellophone, French horn, and double bass respectively. I am also part of the Bergen Tech Jazz Band, playing trombone and I've also been playing trumpet since 4th grade and rewrite music for the Outatune Ensemble (Everything rewritten is original and if the melody is copied, I will credit the original composer).

About Me: Ever since I was a child, I always had a strong passion for music and science, playing multiple instruments like the violin, flute, guitar, ukulele, mellophone, and now French horn as well as performing DIY science experiments.  I am part of the Honors Chamber Ensemble, Fort Lee Marching Band, and Concert Band. As a musician, I believe that music brings out the good and joy in everyone. Being part of Outatune will spread the love of music! 

About Me: Hey guys, I am Ethan He. I am one of the Founders of Outatune and part of the 2026 class at Fort Lee High School. I first started my music endeavor with the violin in 4th grade. I also started learning piano in 5th grade, and Tenor Saxophone in 8th grade. I know how to play a Chinese Instrument called the HuLusi, similar to a recorder but made out of a gourd (can't say I'm proficient.)  I play in the Fort Lee High School Concert Band, Marching Band, Honors Chamber Ensemble, and Fort Lee Jazz Force.  Music is such an expressive fine art and being part of Outatune, I hope that we can spread the passion for music to you guys  (our audience!)
